Walking around the abandoned Laguna Quays Resort in Nth Qld I was constantly reminded of the words spoken by Jeff Goldblum in Jurasic Park - "life finds a way". It certainly has here and what is not been affected by the onslaught of life is been trashed by a few thoughtless vandals. The odd snake came slithering out of the buildings and signs of serious decay are now showing after a few short years of closure. Without constant attention to maintenance this is what our buildings start to look like. Not exactly apocalyptic but this place certainly had a creepy vibe to it.
