Cane Toads

canetoads Being a photographer might sound like a glamorous profession but its not always like that. I nearly puked taking this image of Cane Toads. The smell was absolutely revolting and stayed on my clothes for the rest of the day. Its was part of a mass round up and extermination of Cane Toads in Townsville. The organizers estimated that 25,000 Toads were collected. I think thats a bit of an overstatement. My estimation was more like 10,000. Whatever the number it was disgusting. Thanks a lot Leisa for giving me the gig - she's making up for it in a few weeks when we fly to Horn Island and other Islands in the north for a Tourism shoot.
